It’s really fun with you get to witness a couple at the very beginning of a new relationship, witness it blossom into something way more serious, and then take the big step towards marriage.  Sam and Anj both met at Vanguard University and have been a part of our local church community at Redemption, so we got to witness those fun growth steps in the relationship from just standing close to each other when it first became official, to holding hands, to publicly wrapping their arms around each other.  This totally brought me back to when I was still dating my wife…so much fun!

Fast forward and they were discussing their wedding… Anj had interned with Jesi Haack and had also assisted a few weddings with The Love Riot, so it seemed natural that she would want them involved in her wedding.  Jesi and The Love Riot pulled off a miracle, turning a small budget into an amazing backyard farmhouse wedding up in Sam’s hometown of Galt, CA.  Jesi created a custom 6ft. tall geode backdrop for the ceremony as well as did all the amazing florals.  People danced their faces off…laughed till they cried…and then all pitched in to help clean up at the end.  You can always tell the quality of the people by the friends that surround them.
