Drew+Aimee: Smog Shoppe Wedding

I knew Drew and Aimee were something special the first time I spoke with them.  They just exude a genuine love for life, a passion for loving each other well, and their hilariously quirky sense of humors make you want to be around them all the time. We had so much fun for their engagement session capturing their normal rhythms as a couple…brunching in their apartment, exploring and eating tacos at the farmer’s market, and sharing lots of laughs.  This totally set the stage for their wedding day.

One thing that stands out about their wedding is it was totally and completely THEM!  I love this…it means they followed their hearts, respected family but at the same time didn’t follow the traditions that didn’t mean anything to them, and because of this they were able to fully enjoy every part of the day!  Between framed pictures of their text exchanges when they had first started dating (they met on Tinder by the way), baby’s breath flowers incorporated throughout because that was what Aimee’s mom and Grandma had in their weddings, or custom emoticon pins as wedding party gifts because that is the dominant ‘texting language’ Aimee and Drew use with each other…all of if was so much fun!
