Matt + Julie: Proper Hotel Santa Monica Wedding

This incredible day was 2.5 years in the making. Matt + Julie came to me in March of 2020, right before the COVID shut downs, having already booked the Proper Hotel in Santa Monica in 2019. Then, the world stopped and they were forced to postpone their wedding until 2021. Their spirits remained high and they graciously kept me on board as their photographer despite all the unknowns. 2021 comes around and the world is still in a state of unrest, so like a lot of couples they were forced to postpone again until 2022

Then, the day came. It was like a breath of fresh air getting to be around celebrations again. The smiles were bigger, the dancing was more intense, and the joy was tangible. Sharing this is way overdue but the excitement still lingers at such a beautiful day.
