These two…they have been together for over a decade…their love is comfortable, deep, and real. What a prize it is for me to be able to document people like this…their authenticity was inspiring because it wasn’t just about them being themselves, they also made it super comfortable for everyone else to be themselves around them.

When we were talking about their vision for their wedding, they said they wanted “Hunter Lodge Chic”… a style I just plain hadn’t heard of before, but I knew Kayli from Jesi Haack Design could totally knock that out of the park, and she did! Everything about the day was amazing, from when the sun broke out during the vows, to when all the wedding guests sang to the couple’s first dance song, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”, to the animal heads juxtaposed next to insane florals…it was just amazing. This is what happens when a couple pursues having their wedding be a pure reflection of themselves and not what anyone else says it is supposed to be.

Michael and Ali, you two are amazing people and I am privileged to know you and grateful you allowed me to be a part of your incredible day! Many blessings on you both and your marriage!
