Nick+Shannon: Married

(To see the Green Wedding Shoes Feature of this wedding, click HERE)

I couldn’t have imagined a better way to cap off an incredible 2013 than with this wedding!  From the moment I first sat down with Nick + Shannon for a cocktail at 320 Main in Seal Beach, I knew it was a match!  These two people are 100% authentic, gracious, hilarious, and just downright joyful to be around.  As we swapped stories about art, Spreckles (town in CA…look it up), and their love story, I again got this feeling (as I have many times before) of intense gratitude for doing what I do.  This job is so much more than just taking pictures…I am being invited into people’s lives in a very real way.

For Nick+Shannon, their wedding day was more about gathering together the nearest and dearest people to them for a pure celebration to honor those that have loved and supported them throughout the years.  It was so cool to see some of the industry’s top vendors collaborating to make their dream day a reality.

I’m truly honored to share these images with you… Cheers!

The heat is off the much maligned Ryan Tannehill, at least for the moment as the Dolphins ride a six game winning streak the longest for the franchise since Nick Saban coached Miami to victories during the final six games in 2005 that has put them in the thick of the playoff chase. The fifth year quarterback has had plenty of help during the streak, with an improving defense and a Jay Ajayi fueled running game. Jay Ajayi tied an NFL record by surpassing 200 yards rushing for the second game in a row. Ajayi rushed for 214 yards in 29 carries after totaling 204 yards a week earlier in a win over Pittsburgh.
